Y-404

Yesterday I took a trip to the doctor's office. I was glad I made it there before the asthma attack started, the first one in 9 months, and was diagnosed with a sinus infection and bronchitis. Today I'm feeling much better after stuffing myself with meds. He also gave me a steroid shot which impeded my ability to fall asleep even more and kept me awake until after 4:30 this morning.

Needless to say, I felt like hell this morning and even though I went through the trouble of getting dressed, I crashed on the bed with all my clothes on. This evening I am feeling much better and have made some progress on the Gisha sweater.

Y-404 in Noro Gisha

This looks like it will be fairly quick knit. I can't decide whether to knit it a little longer or go with the length in the pattern. Gisha is a rayon/cotton/polyester blend. I'm sure there will be some drape due to the laciness of the pattern and the weight of the yarn, but I also want to be sure that the sweater doesn't sit in my crotch when it grows from the body heat.

Tonight I'm going to get a few rows in on one of the pairs of socks and call it a night.

Okay, it's Poor Baby time. Poor Baby!! I sure hope you're feeling better soon. The good news is that it is FINALLY raining here. Well, good for the plants. Good for the pollen. Bad for me! Gisha is gorgeous - can't wait to see it as a finished product!
