I have a large stas...Sock yarn is great for gloves. I have a large stash of yarn that was collected with the intention of making gloves. I would say that at least 50% of it is sock yarn. I'm just learning how to knit socks, but I've knitted 7 pairs of gloves(with fingers). Out of 7, 5 are with sock yarn. When I see a skein of sock yarn, the first thing I think of - will it make a nice pair of gloves.
